4K - 5th Grade Religious Ed at CTK
For 2022-2023, CTK will have religious education for grades 4K – 5th grade on Sundays from 9:15 am – 10:15 am.
The standard Sunday mass schedule will be:8 am Mass
9:15 am – 10:15 am Religious Education for 4K – 5 th grade
10:30 am Mass
This new schedule will help us to showing the priority of Sunday, the day that Jesus rose from the dead. Since Mass is at 8 am and 10:30 am, a child who goes to 8 am mass would be free to participate in donuts and milk after mass before religious education at 9:15 am. A child who goes to the 10:30 am mass could still have breakfast at home before arriving for religious education at 9:15 am and still keep the 1 hour Eucharistic fast before the 10:30 am mass.

The Word of Life Series
For 2022-2023, CTK will employ the Word of Life Series by Ignatius Press and Augustine Institute, which can be found at: Home Page (wordoflifeseries.org). This series includes a Parent Portal and a Student Portal. Contact Fr. Steve for more info.
2nd Grade will use the Signs of Grace Series for First Reconciliation Preparation and First Holy Communion Preparation, which can be found at: The Signs of Grace | Authentic catechesis for children and their parents.
